These stops are built in brass with quarter-turn ceramic disc spindles, so the handle travels a quarter turn from shut to open and the disc does the sealing. Seven-year warranty. When installing, leave enough clearance behind the machine that the hose can sweep without kinking, and check both stops shut fully before the first cycle rather than after the floor is wet.
