Diverter mixers do two jobs off one wall plate: set the temperature and flow, and switch between two outlets such as a rail shower and an overhead. This one is brass with a 35mm cartridge, offered in chrome and matt black. Decide which outlet is the default before installation, because the diverter's marked positions are fixed once the plate goes on the wall and nobody enjoys reading them backwards.
