Rough-in work, not finish work: this is the diverter body that goes into the wall before sheeting and tiling, with the trim fitted later in the job. It takes a 35mm cartridge and is of lead free composition. Depth is the measurement to get right at rough-in stage, because the body's position relative to the finished tile face determines whether the trim sits flush — and that is the one thing you cannot correct afterwards without opening the wall back up.
